Little Ballerinas Project

Does your little girl live in a tutu everyday and do you want to capture this moment forever?
Has your daughter started ballet lessons and is so sweet with attempting her first ballet poses?
Do you feel like your baby girl is growing up way too quickly and you want to freeze time?

We’re looking for Little Ballerinas (aged 6 months to 6 years) to be photographed for the gorgeous coffee table book "𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘴- 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘵 & 𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘴 "

For a $50 participation fee, you’ll be able to have your Little Ballerina photographed at the über photography studio where she’ll be treated like a little princess & encouraged to dance & have fun!
100% of participation fees will be donated to help fund The Starlight Children’s foundation
to ensure they can continue to work in partnership with health professionals to bring the fun, joy and laughter that is essential to sick kids’ health and wellbeing.

At least one stunning image of your Little Ballerinas will be included in the "𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘴- 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘵 & 𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘴 "and YES, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase photographs as artwork to display in your home.

My daughter had a great time at the shoot, Mandy made us both feel so comfortable that so we got some absolutely beautiful photos of our baby and they are now proudly hanging on the walls in our house. There was no pressure when purchasing either. Highly recommend über photography.

über photography not only captured my two year old daughter smiling beautifully (not the silly "cheeeeese" face I get) but gave her the most fun experience during her ballerina shoot. I was really nervous taking a toddler to a photo shoot, but the whole über photography team made it really stress free and so fun. I left thinking that I didn't care if they didn't get a good shot and was just really happy with the fun experience, but then getting just the most beautiful photos later, was an absolute bonus!

WHY are we doing THE LITTLE BALLERINAS PROJECT?

Kate, the Owner of über photography has a not so little girl anymore; Mille! Millie lived in a tutu until she went to school. She was such a girly girl when she was little. Everyday she would come out of her bedroom dressed in a crazy combination of clothes, but it always had a tutu as part of it. As a mum it was such a joy to watch, as Millie was her little girl after 2 boys. The Angelina ballerina books were always her favourite stories and she loved dancing around the house to ballet music . Millie was Kate's special Little Ballerina.

She is now 16, and becoming very grown up, she is a little of bit of a tomboy and never wears a dress or skirt. Kate cherishes the photos of that time when she was her baby girl. We would love to create special memories of your little girl for you. As a mum of teenagers, Kate has realized how quickly they grow up. We want to help you create special memories of your little girl that we know you will treasure forever.

WHY are we supporting the STARLIGHT CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION?

My childhood friend Cass’s baby boy Hugh was diagnosed with leukemia aged just 1. Their family with their 2 older boys, spent 2 years in and out of Westmead Children’s Hospital. Hugh's battle was a tough one, they almost lost him a number of times, and he was only saved by a bone marrow transplant.
Starlight was there to support them & bring some laughter to such a difficult time in their lives.
They have both the Starlight room & the amazing Captain Starlight’s, who made Hugh’s days in hospital a little bit brighter.
Thankfully Hugh’s story has a happy ending. He is now in remission and is a healthy little boy enjoying life to the fullest.
